Does anyone on the list have experience installing an Alpha-Spid rotator in
a US Tower TX455?

I can manage to get the rotator inside the upper section but it seems that
the stand-pipe the rotor mounts to needs to be raised about 2 inches off the
rotor shelf so the rotator motor assembly can clear the side braces. Anyone
ever try this combination of tower/rotator? If so, what was your solution?
I'm thinking about trying to locate some of that white cutting board
material (UHMW Polyethylene??) to use for a thick shim.

Thoughts or experience with above is welcome.

Thanks,

Brad - N8SNM
