Got several responses, most from folks who actually use the antenna and are
satisfied with its operation. I did look at the Cushcraft, but all that wind
load
high up gives me the willies, especially having been through the Santa Ana
winds we get here. I like the HF-2V profile better. Doesn't matter if the
Cushcraft "may" be better, it sure won't be better scattered across the desert.
(and yes, I remember Sam Harris' Corollary, I knew Sam).
