The other day I posted a request for ID of an unusual antenna I found, well its purpose has been discovered, it is an NDB (Non Directional Beacon) used as an aircraft nav aid. It is operating on a frequency of 326KHz. I have seen NDBs before but their antennas were a "T" design. Why they built this one this way is still a mystery. Thanks to all who replied. 73 de KCØQNB _______________________________________________ _______________________________________________ TowerTalk mailing list TowerTalk@contesting.com http://lists.contesting.com/mailman/listinfo/towertalk |
