Glad to know you could measure it with the 269 though. I have someone

Thanks to all for the ideas, suggestions and comments. 

 

I spoke with John, the Cushcraft amateur radio rep today, He says that the
length extending out of the 10M trap is not standard. During production of
the A3S, the lengths would vary. The only way to tell the boom end of the
10M trap; it is the end with the self tapping screw that holds the outside
trap sleeve to the element tubing. 

 

I re-assembled the A3S today and measured it with my MFJ 259. It resonates
on each band as it should.
