Hi guys:
keep it simple.
For decades we have sealed conduits with "Duct Seal" or equiivalent, available
at any big box or electrical supply hosue.
It is made for... sealing ducts and conduit.
It does the job, stays pliable, and when you have to remove it... it comes out.
You might be able to scrounge a brick or two of it from any telco / electric /
cable utility guy. In the trade it usually has a more colorful name.
