I'm not sure this is the right place to ask but....
I have rebuilt 2 rotors following the great instructions by this group.
The question is what price to ask at our upcoming hamfest.
Rotor 1: Ham4 - new ball bearings, thorough cleaning inside,
new grease with a wide temp range. Tested position, brake and indicator with a
CATS controller
Rotor 2: TR44 Series 3 - new position pot, thorough cleaning inside,new grease
with a wide temp range. Tested position and indicator with a CATS controller.
I can't supply a controller. The CATS had been modified when its xfmr died -
real ugly repair, but I can demonstrate the two rotors at the hamfest to
potential buyers.
One more consideration. The previous owner (SK) painted both rotors is an ugly
and sloppy manner. I've removed the flaking paint and dirt from the outside.
They look rough.
TIA for any pricing advice. I did notice that the Ham4 is up to $649 new.
