This antenna is, in fact, a system of two Log Periodic antennas. The Mirage/KLM
C6-12-8 and the Mirage/KLM 10-30-7. When installed on one tower and fed in
series with one 50 ohm feed line, the system becomes the Mirage/KLM
C6-30-15-LPA. This scheme offers several advantages. Performance of the system
is equal to an antenna with a 76 foot long boom. In addition the two antennas
can be mounted on separate towers and/or fed with separate feed lines for even
greater flexibility with no loss of performance.
