Sodium Bentonite, yes that's the stuff thank you very much for the reply
Pat.  I kind of remembered that it was like Fuller's Earth or maybe is
Fuller's Earth.

Bentonite...  It's a type of clay.  Not sure where to get it.

I sort of made my own stuff using gypsum and magnesium sulphate, both of
which were available in large bags at my local nursery...
