This tower is pictured in an add in the latest QST. Looks like a nice
tower...a crankup tower. But not really sure what anyone is expecting for
ANY amount of money. A crankup is not a guyed tower plain and simple. If you
want something to load up with antennas and survive somewhat abnormal
wind(s), think 45G or 55G better still. That being said the LUSO tower looks
impressive, you just have to plan to 'run it down' when the winds are up. -

It looks like a very nice tower series but if the conversion I did on wind
speeds are correct from there web site they are limited to the 70 MPH noose
that around most crankup necks. With the eastern coastal speeds are at
110-130 MPH under IBC 2003 now the controlling factor here in the East I
believe it will limit just how useful the tower could or would be in this
area. I wished I could be with you all at Dayton this year but being the
wife birthday (Do to my continue wish to live I will not give up her age.)
I thought it the wise course as her husband that I stays close to home. 73
