I asked a similar question of our local municipally-owned
electric company. They said a 40 foot pole could be
delivered to my home and installed for $300.00. It
couldn't hurt to ask your local utility if they would
do the same for you. You most likely couldn't find
a mover, large earth auger, crane, etc at a similar
price on your own. YMMV
It's sort of like the "free tower" concept, isn't it?
