Like others have already said, SS NEEDS an anti seize compound or bolts
and nuts become one. Gaulling is a common problem with un-lubricated SS.
I use the metal strips with the Yaesu thrust bearings as a "slip"
surface so the bearing serves to center, but not support the mast.
