This stuff is really excellent. Some of the drawings illustrate the 
implementation of the engineering concepts in W2VJN's book. 

Question: There is a statement that stubs should be put in metal cans to 
prevent radiation from the stub. This doesn't make a lot of sense to me 
unless the cable used to make the stub has a crummy shield, in which case it 
probably wouldn't have a great notch either. Has this mechanism been 
documented anywhere?
