Many contest and VHF stations do that.
Long boom yagis need a lot of turning radius and spacing.

I am going to built one for 10m if the band improves.

5/8 wave length stacking distance is imho the minimum.
My 105BAs will be 8m high and 10m wide stacked.
The resulting lobe and gain at the planned 10° take off angle is not
possible with a 4 high stack.

Why would anyone want to do this, instead of the conventional
wisdom of vertical stacking and/or using longer Yagi's?
