Here on MD Eastern Shore I pointed the beams as I always do: Short path
to JA (335) for the stack and HZ (50) for the little C3e. Wind during
the storm was mostly out of the NE, and swung around to NW after the eye
went north. Our worst winds measured 80+ mph at 100 feet and never more
than 35 at 5 feet up. All 3 towers and all antennas were fine. 95%
of wind here comes out of the NE; hurricane or no. I lost one tree
during the worst of things and several more trees after the wind
switched to NW and the eye was well NE of me. I do hate mature Bradford
Pears! Only about 12 of them left. I had 50 in 2003. The towers and
beams I don't worry much over.

Point yours where they ride the worst of it without undo strain. Where I
point mine won't help you unless you are a neighbor of mine. 73 bob de w9ge
