You might also look for other motors that TEFC or totally enclosed fan
cooled. I have seen virtually the same motor that I bought from LEESON for
my HG-70D at Tractor Supply...I think it was a G/E 1hp.  My motor could be
wired either at 110v or 220v. I chose to wire it at 220v. The CW or CCW
rotating properties are also important to note.  - Mike

The type motor needed is called a wash-down motor. Leeson is one such
manufacturer. That is what my used LM-470 had on it. No problems with rain
water incursion.
