Jim
What I will do is depending of the length of the run after the 7/8, if the run
is long than cross the wall will use LMR 400, Buryflex , the new DXE cables or
any of the new low loss
if the length is longer than 25 ft will use 1/2 inch super flex or something

bigger , keep in mind that my loss in the feed line need to be the minimal
up
to 50 mhz
I have in mind always be below the 1 Db loss in the full length of the
feedline.

If you have Hard line and need a pig tail use double shield cable , my
recommendation, in my case made the difference

After running a big heliax line from the antenna to the house service
entrance and properly bonding it (of course) what sort of run strategies do
folks take from there to where the rig sits in the house? Do you continue
most of the way with heliax or do you drop down to a more flexible but
lossy RG8 or 8X for the rest of the run?

Pics/links welcome.
