According to my Tri-Ex Catalog dated Jan 1, 1967 I find the following:

Model HZ-354N (also HZN-354)
Self Supporting when the Base Mount and Tripod is used. If not the tower
could be bracketed or use one set of guys for the bottom section.

Height extended 54', collapsed 20'11"
Width is 21' 15/16" Wt is 750 pounds.

Only says designed to support large 10, 15, 20 meter beams. Top section is
large enough to hold a small prop pitch.

I have tried for years to get factory specs on wind load. All they say is
meets and exceeds RETMA and UBC building standards.

I was helping someone with a HZR-471N which is the motorized version and he
found specs saying 18 Sq feet but no wind load speed (50, 70 ???).

In 1967 this tower cost $859.60. In a 1971 catalog no specs included but
the price was $1,089.60.
