I also like that omni mode. It should be easy to tune up because I can measure the current/phase with the VNA using the W8WWV method.

Big change for me - my first outdoor antenna since moving to a new QTH. Prior work was all attic based - and I'm very glad to be getting out of that business.

I have the DX Engineering box and you are going to like the omni direction
feature. I don't know if the Comtek box has that.

With careful measuring and construction of the array, I am getting 30dB
front to back out of my 40m 4 square.
