Using a Smith Chart is an educational process, but for practicality it seems to me that using TLW (the free application that comes with the ARRL Antenna Book) is a simpler solution. It is almost trivial to use.
TLW is quite useful, but Sim Smith is FAR more powerful. TLW works on one frequency at a time, SimSmith works on a range of frequencies.
