Yeah ..you are right....on the Tri-Ex W-51 tower the SHORT cable is
EXACTLY 
50' long -- After both loops
have been made up..measuring 50' from tip of one loop to tip of other
loop. 
Long cable goes to the Crank so
the length is not critical. These measurements are not to be found in
any 
W-51 instruction manual.
Just for the info of anyone in need. WB6QPG.
