The best commercial penetrating oil is PB Blaster and even better but with a limited shelf life is to mix acetone and transmission fluid. Keep it away from painted surfaces though

I have taken elements apart after years of use and the NoAlox was still greasy. Given that some of it had washed out, but I've had no problems with it.
I didn't know that Pentrox hardened, but I've only used it on threads
