Marsh,

I  just purchased the JK Hawk which is 3L40 5L20 on a 40' boom. Here are my
observations:
        * Packaging is first rate, everything was neatly labeled and packed.
        * Quality of components is extraordinary, very solid and high quality.
The coils are an example of this.
        * Fit and finish, everything fits together perfectly, the elements are
straight and don't droop
        * The NEC4 models for gain and F/B have proven very accurate in real
life.
        * Customer service is very responsive. Ken is great. I needed a plate
and clamps for a non-standard size mast with 2.75" OD. He did a special run
just for me within one of the request at no additional charge. I was suitably
impressed.
        * Given all of the above, price is reasonable.
I've assembled many antennas and give the JK the prize for best quality, but,
of course, the proof is in the pudding, so I will post my findings on the JK
Hawk performance vs. the antenna I am retiring which was 2L40, 3L20 on 27' boom
at a later date.

Anybody using or have experience with a dual-band Yagi on a common boom from
JK Antennas in New York? I'm considering 40M/20M and 15M/10M dual-band Yagis
made by them. Any pro or con comments you'd be willing to share? Marsh, KA5M
