Get the very best balun you can afford. You do not want to have to change one
out when the antenna is up on a tower. I had a BN-4000 attached to a tH-6 for
about 12 years. Suddenly the antenna went dead. What happened was the constant
expansion and contraction of the balun from outside weather temperature changes
eventually resulted in the center conductor of the Teflon coax pulling out of
the coax connector. It took several hours of chopping out the epoxy filler and
then re-soldering the coax to fix it. The best balun out there IMO is made by
Balun Designs in Texas. Check their website and give Bob a call.
