NO----NO....don't even think of that.. The deer stands( I have a few) have steel or aluminum "teeth" that bite into the bark of a tree. Those teeth will NOT bite into a steel tower.. PLEASE do NOT think of doing this.. we will read about what will happen to you !!!!!!!!!! Dan N4GNR

Has anyone considered using a hunter's tree stand as a tower work platform?

Seems like if it's safe enough up a tree it should be safe for tower work. Plus,
you'd have a place to sit down if you're up the tower for an extended period
of time.
