I am sure that Tim will take good care of you in this matter. I think that
the people answering the telephones and email are very good at customer
service. If you are missing a bolt or received the wrong item they will
quickly resolve it. In many cases they will replace the whole kit and not
ask for the old one back and in one instance they sent me a replacement next
day air at their expense. If you have technical issues, they may not be the
right person to help and I am not sure who it. About a decade ago, I had
many technical conversations with the owner Paul Sergi. He was very
interested in the corrosion related problems that I was having at my P40A
station. Also at the time they only used 5/16 u-bolts in their saddles. I
mentioned to him that I was using their saddles and 3/8 u-bolts from
McMaster Carr and later they added 3/8 to their product line.

Matthew, Keith, and others,
to have found this gentleman' nadir. That
would be July 9th, early afternoon PDT.

I had purchased several DXE 6' RG8X jumpers and 10 Amphenol Connex 182115-10

connectors, with the intent of cutting the pre-made jumpers and terminating
to
make multiple short jumpers.Yes, I am that cheap. I discovered that the
stranded center conductor would not pass into the crimp area of the
connector,
and if it appeared that they had done so, some strands would be held back
and
would short to the body of the connector.

The specs from Amphenol say the hole is .063, and RG8X should have a center
conductor of .056-.058. I have no way to measure the diameter of the
stranded
conductor or the tiny hole for the crimp to ascertain the nature of the
problem.

I have been contacted by Mr. Duffy, who has promised to investigate the
specific physical problem and resolve it. Sorry for the drama here.
