I have aluminum coated steel wire in use as an electric fence, about a
mile in all adding up the various segments. It is about knee high and
not tensioned much. It is still in good shape and only shows any rust
where it has been significantly abraded or left on the ground for a
significant period of time in wet conditions, not likely treatment of
antenna wire.

I have used many types of Copperweld in my consulting business. A couple of
times I have called their engineering staff about products.
One time I asked about the aluminum on steel product, which I believe was
called "aluminumweld." (Not to be confused with aluminum arc-welding wire)
I was told if the wire was used on ground or buried I would have dust in a
year or two.
