I am a happy user of Yaesu rotors but can't stand the controllers - any of
them.

I recently purchased a Hy-Gain Yaesu clone rotor controller and liked it so
much I bought another. I now have one Yaesu controller as my back up but
are done using them for regular service.

The Hy-Gain controller is much cheaper than the GH version. Although not as
fully capable especially if you are trying to synchronize the rotors which I
am not. Its roughly $300 and its plug and play with your Yaesu rotor.
Point and shoot digital controller. Even when Yaesu was selling the
controllers as a replacement item - I remember them being as much or more
than that.

I agree with others that its not a bad build project to build your own
controllers for Yaesu. I wish I had the time..
