Is your installation similar to the picture of the link that was provided by
another poster? The manufacturer claims that this installation, when done as
shown, will show 2:1 SWR cross all bands. It looks like a number of things are
critical to performance: The top to bottom height of 55ft and the length of
the wire being 110 ft. Also there is a "balancing network" at the far end and
that network may need the counterpoises connected rather than using lossy
ground to make the connection.
Then you should see if in fact you are getting 2:1 VSWR (before turning on your
rig's tuner) on the desired bands. If you don't get that, you should consider
returning the product.
