?Thanks for the input, but I don't think a Tailtwister is going to be
adequate for my new antenna. It's got a 39' boom, 17 elements up to 48', and
weights over 220 pounds.?

 

To be comparative, I have about 150lbs of antenna with my 15M 6el 45 ft
boom/20M 4el 34 ft boom stack, and 220 lbs with my M2 40L3 stacked over a
10M 4 el on a 24 ft boom.

 

Both are being turned with Yaesu 2800SDX rotors. Both have 24 foot steel
masts with ¼ wall.  Those beasts weigh in at something over 150lbs each
(don?t remember exactly). For 8 years, with no issues.

 

Over speccing is a costly exercise.  Feels good, costs a lot.
