Why would it not work? All of my rotators are at least that far away and
work fine. Larger diameter wire has less resistance and your control box and
motor will have no idea that they are so far apart.

Subject: Yaesu G-2800 rotator control line

My rotator is 102 feet high in a rohn 25 tower with the yaesu-supplied
control
cable attached. Although the cable supplied with the rotator is 130 feet (40

meters) long with the two connectors attached, I will cut it at the bottom
of
the tower to go into a big metal box for feedline/control line connecting.
Then
I will use additional cable, undefined as of yet, in 3" ABS tubing
underground
to the outside wall of the shack where it will again go into a metal box
(ks7p
company) and connect into the shack equipment.

The distance from the bottom of the tower to the shack outside wall is 240
feet. That combined with the up the tower cable and 25 feet in the shack
itself
means a total approximate length of 370 feet.

Yaesu personal said the rotator will not work at that distance.

What do you recommend I use to finish the project?
