If traps were as lossy and you think, why don't they just smoke and burn up when on RTTY at 1500 watts?

Get your calculator out, and if they really are that lossy, would they would catch fire dissipating all that loss?

Do I go back to the old CL33 and add a 12/17 rotary dipole or is that too
old school.

KT34a worked great but I do not think it would come apart for rebuild
