That that does not really describe much other than it is drawn steel.  1026
is a good mast material, everything does not have to be chromoly.  Your
tower is not chromoly.  Larger diameter is better, I have a Ø3" 1026 mast
that is very strong and it has worked well for me with various monobanders.
