The capacitor provides starting motor torque as well as phase lead/lag
to determine direction of rotation of the motor. It has nothing to do
with how much current flows in the brake circuit. I had the capacitor
remoted at the rotor in all my HyGain rotors. (Which are now long gone,
replaced by Alfa Spids).
