This is preliminary information... but I have a report of problems
using packet and verion 5.99 + 5db. It appears if you are NOT using
the network, there are problems with the packet interface.
It appears that the problem is caused by the new BROADCAST ALL PACKET
DATA parameter. If this is set to TRUE (the default), and you do not
enable the multi network, some unexpected behavior might result.
To fix this, make sure to set BROADCAST ALL PACKET DATA to FALSE
if you are not using the network.
I will fix this bug in the next release, currently not scheduled.
