Has anybody gotten TR interfaced to an FT-990 or similar
Yaesu rig without using the RS-232 level converter?
I know it can be done for Kenwood rigs. In fact, the FT-990
uses the same 6 pin connector and same pins for TXD, RXD, and
ground. I don't see any CTS or RTS though, which have to be
jumpered on Kenwood rigs. It doesn't want to work with just the
first three pins hooked up. Is there a trick?
