Yes there is - this was one of the early features of TR-Log.
In 4.05 (do you have the manual?) -- if so look for the section (6.7
maybe) called USING THE NAME DATABASE -- as this will tell you how to
set it up. You can import a list of names as calls from an ascii file.
The name file has to be in a directory called NAME and it needs
to be off the root like this: \LOG\NAME
The file that is created using POST is called NAMES.CMP
