Some strange number appears in the firs line of the band map

I confirm this except I do not get the strange numbers.
However after returning to my test log after a power down I find
that the whole bandmap display is flashing, and the NEXTBANDMAP
command programmed into Ex memory F4 in my case is working very
erratically if at all. Can't think what I might be doing wrong.
System is 200Mhz Pentium with 32Mb RAM
