With apologies for yet another question ... I have the SBDVP running nicely
in a DOS window under Win98, except for the minor white noise problem
alluded to earlier. I decided to try booting to DOS, to see if that made
any difference, but can't get the sound card to respond at all in DOS. I
still had all the DOS initialization commands in my autoexec.bat, just
remmed out, and I've played with SB16SET, the DOS control program, all to
no avail.
Does anyone have a DOS initialization string that is known good with the
SB16 card and SBDVP?
