I built the little amp to boost the mic o/p and now get good
recordings.  For the rest of the story see my post to 3830 with ARRL DX
SSB results.  

My goal is to use the DVS-2 o/p on the MkV to interface with
soundblaster.  If I get it working well, I'll post info here and on
1000MP site.
