[TRLog] Auto-CQ Issues

Hello Tree and all,

why this kind of reaction?
Be quiet guys, it's very hot outside (35 deg. C today)!!

The reflector was so calm for many weeks,
now that someone shows new interest on TRLog,....

The auto-Resumption is a great feature.
I like it, as principle, and we all wish it work properly.
After all, it is just matter of tune it.

To me, there are two issues here:
a) the loss of the first char;
b) the lack of a way to stop it.

A)
Find a way of discarding the first char, if it's not a valid one
(letter or digit) otherwise put it back on the call window buffer,
and we'll be grateful to you, Tree.
(this is found to be useful to the little pistols that spend a lot in CQing
without answers... like me; In fact, if you have a constant pileup,
you don't need Auto-CQ, so you don't loose any char either)

B)
Just add a simple way to stop the auto-resumption
(now, once you activate it, the only way to stop it
is to exit and restart TR)
A Ctrl-J flag that enable/disable it, ALT-something, or even a better
solution
(you are used to find one, Tree)!

Take care!
Bob,I2WIJ (J49R next July)
