In my view, the question is not whether the Cabrillo format supports SAC;
since the exchange is the same as WPX, it's already supported. WT4I's
Cabrillo converter has SAC on its list of supported contests. The question
is whether the SAC log checkers are prepared to accept Cabrillo logs, and
for that it's the SAC committee you would have to contact. Before anyone
does that: a check of the SAC rules shows that the SAC log checkers already
accept (in fact, prefer) Cabrillo.

However, the original question was about a missing exchange in the Cabrillo
file produced by POST. This is either a bug or a feature in POST - if the
contest is not on the list of contests which are known to support Cabrillo,
the Cabrillo file produced by POST is bad (if I remember correctly, it is
missing the sent exchange, the sent RST appears in the received exchange,
and the columns may also be off). There is a work-around to this: edit
LOGCFG.DAT to tell TRLog/POST that the contest is WPX (in general, a
supported contest with a similar exchange), and POST should generate a valid
Cabrillo file. You will then have to edit the contest name in the Cabrillo
file.

My suggestion to Tree would be to fix POST so that the Cabrillo file looks
OK for all contests (except perhaps those few where the exchange is unusual
and cannot be accommodated within Cabrillo), regardless of whether or not
the contest is actually on Trey's list. The one problem parameter that comes
immediately to mind is the contest name; i.e. if the name is not on the
list, Tree's choice might differ from the "official" one, if the latter
exists - that's really easy to fix if and when it happens, so it's not worth
getting excited about.
