Hi Steve
I finally managed to access BIOS on the Toshiba.
Start up while holding ESC.
I had to change the Display Setting.
LCD DISPLAY STRETCH = ENABLED
Result: full screen is being used now, so no black parts anymore. The font
however remained the same. So it looks stretched indeed. But it certainly
looks better than before.
