Hi.   Here are a couple:

I keep all the TR directories on my USB drive and set my path there.   I 
also setup a big cache for smartdrv.

My autoexec lools like this:

lh smartdrv.exe C+ 16384 2048
path=C;\tr;c:\utility;a:    ; my utility directory has all the DOS commands 
I tend to use or need
c:
cd tr
tr
smartdrv.exe /c   ; This line forces a cache writeback to make sure you 
don't lose data.

My config.sys is similar to yours.    I think you will find this smartdrv 
setup will fix you up.   GL on CQ160!
