This should probably go on the contest reflector as well...

First, antenna switching with first come first served lockout.

Bandpass filters.

Another trick I know some have used is a #47 lamp as a fuse on a separate rx
antenna input to the rig. Requires switching between the rigs antenna jacks
between tx and rx. The lamp will glow brightly if there is significant RF
on the line and will open if there is enough.

K3LR uses different polarization antennas for TX and RX so that more than
one radio can be on the same band/mode and limit the interference. The rigs
are locked out so only one can transmit at a time to conform with the rules
of one signal per band.

Subject: [WriteLog] SO2R and Front end Protection

Hi All
I need input on how to protect the rigs front end during SO2R operation
when each rig is running a kw.

Thanks in advance.
