You may also want to set PADDLE MONITOR TONE = 0

For SO2R, I set CW TONE = 0 but leave PADDLE MONITOR TONE = 400. That way,
I get no sidetone for computer-sent messages, but sidetone when I grab the
paddles.

Mike,

Set CW Tone = 0 in the Ctrl-J box.

Subject: [Trlog] cwmonitoroff

I want to turn off the (Internal) computer speaker and see that the manual
mentions to enter "CWMONITOROFF" to get this to happen.? Is this a command I
place in the logcfg.dat filed, or ctrl J and toggle??

The reality is I don't see this in the window when I do a cnt'l J.

Any help?
