http://users.otenet.gr/~jmsp/#dnld This guy decided to take on the very dirty task of rewriting the 1980's FORTRAN code that makes up the NEC2 engine, and turn it into a multithreaded, x86 assembler beast. He's reporting 10x increase in speed, and it's compatible with 4nec2. Drop in replacement. Please give him $10 at least!
