For a cruddy lil old "oil town in the middle of nowhere" I do have
many fond memories of dozens of Rover trips through there....
The stores of that place alone would fill a book, lol...

N6ZE/Rover plans to be QRV on Sat. & Sun For ARRL VHF Contest
On Saturday, I will begin operations in Thousand Oaks, CA (*DM04) at 11AM PST
(1900 UTC) and then head toward points North on I-5.
On Sunday, tentative plan is to be in DM03/04/13/14
I plan to have capability on:

2 meters 144.200 MHz USB / 146.58 MHz FM
135 cm 222.1 MHz USB / 223.5 MHz FM
70 cm 432.100 MHz USB / 446.0 MHz FM
33cm 927.5 MHz FM
23 cm 1296.1 MHz USB / 1294.5 MHz FM
