I received a certificate from the September 2014 VHF contest. They are very
nice looking certificates, but the problem is that I don’t understand why I
received it. I did not win my division. The certificate says “Atlantic Divsion
Rover” and “Ninth Place Overall 2014”. I read the rules again just to see if I
missed something, but I don’t see anything that would explain why I received
this. An error maybe?
I am asking to seek understanding. I have been a rover for a year after a long
time out of the hobby and this is the first VHF certificate since the 1990s. I
received one for the UHF contest last month and that one made sense.
