And, you can't ask EASILY them to QSY to your other bands. Is this part of
the 2M and up lack of QSO's problem we're seeing all around the country ?
Guys, I don't care what you personally think of WSJT modes. I made no
statement pro or con on FT8 and it's virtues / lack of virtue - people
know, or think they know my opinion as related to both contesting and to
casual DXing.. All I'm looking for is a easy, QUICK and seamless way to
have some compatibility with those guys who don't wish to use WSJT while
contesting (or attempting to work contesters) but prefer a clone - a clone
with no contest mode.
Several people have said just click the RR73 button and be done with it,
but that doesn't really fulfill MY obligation to send a valid contest
exchange (if I read this correctly, the other guy wouldn't get a valid
contest exchange). So, I say again, would there be support by contesters
to petition the WSJT group to add some sort of 'quick' button to drop OUT
of CM for the one Q ?
