Hey, everyone. Weather permitting (which it's looking good at the
moment), I'll be getting out for a fairly ambitious rove this coming
weekend.
All the locations and times are on the K1RZ map and should be fairly
accurate. But I thought it might be worth mentioning it again here for
anyone who's not constantly reloading the map.
Saturday:
1400 - 15:45 : FN10xc, East Earl Township, PA
1600 - 18:00 : FN20ad, Sunny Crest, PA
1910 - 21:00 : FM29hx, Gauntless Community Center, PA
I am fairly solidly booked up in FN10 and FN20, so I will not be calling
CQ from those stops at all. I've also got a bunch of other rovers to
work and not a lot of time to do so. If you hear me, feel free to
respond but it's a tight schedule so I'll have to keep moving.
FM29 is pretty much wide open at the moment. There's stations I will be
messaging to arrange contacts - if you want to get in on this, please
send me a message or email. I will also be calling CQ here.
Sunday:
0800 - 0900 : FN31rg, Hammonasset Beach, CT
1020 - 1120 : FN41bp, Ekonk Hill, RI
1240 - 1450 : FN42fg, Westborough, MA
1640 - 1850 : FN32ou, Hogback, VT
2125 - end : FN43cd, Henniker, NH
FN31 has been disappointing in the past so I'm only giving it an hour
this time. FN41 was a pleasant surprise last time, but again I'm only
planning an hour here. After that, everything is pretty much wide open
and I'm spending longer at each stop. I'll be calling CQ from each
stop, and I'm happy to arrange skeds too.
I've got everything through 10 GHz with good power and antennas on each
band, and I can work pretty quickly if needed. So yeah it's pretty
ambitious, but I think it's doable.
To make a long story short, text/email if you want to arrange something,
and if you hear me please respond and be ready to run the bands.
- Chris
